Important to note

Students can start the program anytime throughout the year, from September – June.

For students to be considered full-time, they must log 16 – 25 hours of study per week.

Students who receive financial assistance (Loans and Bursaries, band funding programs, or other) are required to log a minimum number of study hours per week, as defined by the funder. We are required to confirm student activity on a regular basis.  If students are not meeting the minimum requirements set by the funder, financial assistance may be affected and/or suspended.

There are 23 modules and each module has an assigned number of hours for completion.

Attendance is verified by:

  • Progress in each module and by contact with the instructors. Remember that each module has a set number of hours which you have to complete the module.
  • Login times and length of session and other tracking mechanisms within Moodle (online platform used).
  • Students are required to advise the module instructor and Debra Stephens, program principal, should they need to be absent from their studies for a period of time longer than 5 days.  Students who fail to fulfill these requirements will be removed from the online program.
